THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE BROADLAWNS FOUNDATION THIS #GIVINGTUESDAY! This Giving Tuesday, November 29th, 2022, join people around the world in celebrating a global day of giving! Broadlawns Medical Center’s goal is to raise money to fund the Broadlawns Imaging Clinic Remodel for Early Breast Cancer Detection. In FY2021, 3,446 people turned to Broadlawns Mammography for affordable mammography and breast biopsy care. Funds are being raised to renovate the Broadlawns Mammography and Imaging Clinic to create a calming, modern healthcare environment. Additionally, funds will support the purchase of new state-of-the-art imaging technology, which offers lower dose radiation exposure and higher resolution imaging. These enhancements will elevate the level of trust, comfort, and caliber of breast imaging care that those in our county receive. The enhanced clinic and imaging technology with increased accuracy will lead to earlier breast cancer detection, diagnosis, and most importantly, treatment. Chief Medical Officer Yogesh Shah, MD, MPH, FAAFM and his wife, Deval, have pledged to match the first $1,000 to our Giving Tuesday Campaign!
